AN EXCITING COMPETITION, A UNIQUE SETTING & ENTERNTAINMENT FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

The showjumping competition for horses on the beach on our own Belgian coast!

Once a year this horse event is organized on the beautiful beach of Middelkerke.

What makes this competition so special is that the obstacle course is built up during low tide. As soon as the sea moves away from the coastline, a large surface is released where the sand is solid. This gives us a natural, resilient soil suitable for the horses to jump. Visually, the beach provides an exceptional surrounding for the competition, but this area is only temporarily available until high tide returns. The concept is complex due to the sea tides and creates quite a timing challenge.

Come and enjoy refreshing drinks and a delicious barbecue at our own beach bar followed by a party!

Visit the wonderful exhibitors and food trucks along the dike.

There are also all kinds of fun activities for the kids.

The event is public and entrance is FREE.
