How many times can a rider and horse participate in Beach Jumping?
→ On Friday, each rider may start multiple heights and multiple horses!
→ On Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, each rider may start a maximum of one test over these three days! Due to the sea tides, we are limited in time. In this way, the organization wants to give as many different riders as possible the opportunity to compete.
Are riders from other countries allowed to participate in the competition?
→ To be sure of a place, you must reserve a VIP table or be a partner (before the start of May, full is full)
→ You must purchase a guest license via Paardensport Vlaanderen / Equibel.
Are ponies allowed to participate?
→ Yes, at the end of each class the double combination will be adjusted to pony size.
How can I register for this competition?
→ Via Equibel
→ Maximum of 120 participants per day due to sea tides.
(mix of open online registrations / wildcards via selection competitions / VIP tables / Partners).
Who can participate in this competition?
→ Participants must be members of Paardensport Vlaanderen/LEWB. The obligations of licences and immatriculations are in accordance with the provincial competitions as included in the Flemish Regulation Jumping 2024.
→ Each rider needs the following license: J02 | J03 | J08 | J16
→ Attention: no day licences!

Changes and cancellation participants competition:
→ The entry fee is non-refundable in case of cancellation for any reason. However, you may make a name change of rider and horse within the same class. Changing height and day is in no case possible after registration. A name change can be made at the competition seceratary of Paardensport Vlaanderen.
How can I obtain a wildcard?
→ Through the selection competitions of the GOUDEN LAARS | H.R.O.V. | H.G.V.B.B. | K.R. | W.V.U.R. | K.V.O.R.
With a wildcard, you are guaranteed your starting place in advance. You no longer need to register via the online system. You will receive an email from Paardensport Vlaanderen with the information you need to make the payment. Your registration will be added to your shopping cart on Equibel. Payment must be made before May 4, 2026, before online registration opens!
Can I rent a stable for my horse to stay overnight?
→ If you would like your horse to spend the night in the neighbourhood, you can contact a local stable to book a stable. In the competition information on the website you can find some recommendations in the area. There are no stables at the competition location.
Where can I park my horse transport?
→ There will be a parking area for horse transport on the dike. You will get access to this with your parking vignette. You will receive this after your registration. The parking vignette is included in the registration fee.
Can I ride my horse on the beach outside the warm-up arena?
→ If you are a participant in the event ‘Beach Jumping’ in Middelkerke on 22 to 25 may 2025, you are allowed to ride outside our arena. You do not need to apply for a specific identification number from the municipality of Middelkerke for this period.
However, if you wish to ride on the beach outside this period, you must have an identification number.
Are dogs allowed on the beach?
→ Dogs are welcome on a leash at the Beach Jumping bar. Dogs are not allowed on the beach from June 15 to September 15.
How much does admission cost for visitors?
→ The entry is FREE for everyone!
