Who can participate in this competition?

Participants must be members of Paardensport Vlaanderen/LEWB. The obligations of licences and immatriculations are in accordance with the provincial competitions as included in the Flemish Regulation Jumping 2024. Attention no day licences! You must have a Belgian annual licence.

Which licence do I need to participate in?

J02 / J03 / J08 / J16

How many classes may a rider start?

→ Each rider may start a maximum of 1 class over the whole weekend! No exceptions are possible. It is not possible for a rider to start more than one horse. This is to give as many riders as possible a chance to participate.

Can ponies also participate?

→ The obstacle course is set to horse size. You may enter a pony, but the double combinations will not be adjusted to pony size. This is because of time constraints with the tide schedule. There will be no double jump in the 80 cm class.

Can I rent a stable for my horse to stay overnight?

→ If you would like your horse to spend the night in the neighbourhood, you can contact a local stable to reserve a stable. In the competition information on the website you can find some recommendations in the area. There are no stables at the competition site.

Where can I park my horse transport?

→ There will be a parking area for horse transport on the seawall. You will get access to this with your parking vignette. You will receive this after your registration. The parking vignette is included in the registration fee.

Are dogs allowed on the beach?

→ After 15 September, dogs are allowed on the beach on a leash.

Can I ride my horse on the beach outside the closed competition tracks?

→ It is mandatory to wear an identification number which you can obtain from the municipality of Middelkerke. Without a registered number you are not allowed to ride freely on the beach. You can find more information via this link. Attention: controls will be done! Remember to drive as close to the waterline as possible at all times.
